London tomorrow! First on the list : science museum and then Tate modern! Eeek :)
Aspiring artist: I am interested in the process, how art is made and why it’s made. I play with complimentary colours and how you are able to change the atmosphere of one painting by a single brushstroke of a particular shade of colour. my paintings are an exploration of my internal feelings regardless of the initial theory behind them. They all have a running theme of containment and entrapment, which are expressed in a variety of ways.

Art tip
Wondered why you can never get enough colour in to your work? We'll here is the secret!
A wise person once told me that your pallet should be ad big as your painting if not bigger! So a great way to make a pallet easily is to put clingfilm on your desk! That way you can mix loads of colours and all you have to do is throw it away when done! Or in my case stick it on your studio wall- helps me remember what colours I used in the past and how I mixed them.

Greetings.
The names Kirsten, just another Aspiring artist currently studying Art foundation and soon to progress on to University studying a BA hons in Fine art painting.
Im a hard working committed individual. I work in a range of media but Painting is where I feel at home. Ive had a hard time admitting to myself that I want to become an artist as we are always taught to pick a steady and reliable career choice but I figure that the best way forward is to do what feels right. Art feels right to me so I will stick with it.:)
I hope I attract the interest of some people and that you enjoy my posts.
Thank you,
Your Kirsten
